Aberdeen biggest park, a stunning arrray of flowers. Actually the park is famous for its rose displays, but they do not blossom before June/July.

The Riverside - The most favourite site during the warmer days, day and night
Since days got longer and the days warmer we got quite often stuck down there. Picnics, bonfires, bbqs and games.

Hillwalking
Had an amazing day around Glenshee. It was totally foggy and misty and we didn´t see further than 20 m the whole day. That might have been the reason why a supposedly 3h walk got extended to 8h climb. Got totally lost, cause everything looked the same. Didn`t find the top once, although it was just 30 m furhter. We´ve been totally soaked in the end, but had so much fun....
|
 Yes, |
we hardly saw anything, therfore |
we had to cross (big) rivers |
but saw that amazing net |
and had to climb these boulder fields |
where we literally had to move on all our fours |
cause it was really that steep |
but finally we made it to the top |
Highlandgames
Passed Glenshee the day after and it was blue sky, should have had that weather during Hillwalking.... Anyway, went on to Blair Atholl to see the Highlandgames. Tug-o-war, Cab the tosser and loads of other games. Was soo much fun and really amazing, how those guys flipped the trunks.

Fowlsleugh Nature Reserve with loads of birds
Birds, birds and birds. Tried to see a Puffin, cause I didn´t make it on the Shetlands. The only Puffin I saw in the end, was the one on the sign... Nearly tipped over a nesting Mallard, saw lots of Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Guillemots and lots of other flying/stinking birdies. The weather was amazing, although we got a sunburn, cause I fell asleep in the middaysun.
