Mum
Mum has been here for two days. We had good trips, mostly nice weather (just got totally wet once) and actually fun.

Mum, Felix and Dunnotar Castle |

Lots of Chinese dishes, chocolate and ice-cream |
|
Dawn at the War Memorial in Stonehaven, nice isn't it |
On the next day we went to
Edinburgh, a really nice city. The (Tourist) Capital of Scotland with a famous castle, lots of festivals (been at the
Tatoo three years ago) and a splendid scenery.
|
The famous castle, with the Honours (Crown Jewels) of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny, a small piece of stone, but very important to the Scottish. |
|
|
That's the view from the castle down the royal mile. A cannon on the bottom left, the park and the train station on the left, the sea in the back, a nice hill on the right, churches all over and straight at the end of the mile, the Scottish parliament and Holyrod Palace.
Put my digi on a tripod, took a couple of pics and merged them afterwards.

Scottish Tartan: At first all the necessary wool for the Tartan will be collected....
Link to the different Tartans (They look all the same to me.....)

|
...and then it will be woven in those old looms. |
